Five years ago, I started writing for the first time in my life, having no idea what I was doing. Four years ago, I wrote the words "the end" for a bloated 120,000-word manuscript. Three years ago, I ripped it up and rewrote it. Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and started querying it. A year and a half ago, I signed with Red Adept Publishing.
